This was my big gift for myself to go with my cup, “tears.” Like other reviewers have said, it is tiny, but in my opinion that goes to show what a gem Tissues is. The streak of glaze under the spout, photographed here, is so beautiful and when a drop fell down the streak I gasped. It is tiny, so I’d say this is more for the collector/appreciator of tea ceremonies. One downside is that tissues always has a runny nose, go figure. ❤️

I ordered 4 teacups and the teapot. Firstly, I was very impressed with the unique packaging- and each item was boxed separately. But my mind was blown by the beauty and uniqueness of each item. The glaze is so beautiful! My only complaint is that the teapot was much smaller than expected.

The items of teapot, 2 x cups & coffee cup / saucer were very unique in their appearance & function. These are a gift to my lovely daughter who is an avid tea drinker & sources her beverages from overseas.
I thus thought to get her interested in the tradition of Japanese tea ceramonies & tea appreciation but unfortunately the items came with no literature.
Thus could you recommend a book that would serve as an introduction to the above comment.
I would be happy to purchase one if you have some for sale.
Also the delivery of the items was very quick & they were securely packaged to prevent any breakages. The individual boxes also enhanced the presentation of the items & will serve as an heirloom keepsake to store & protect what will become cherished items.

The tea pot was smaller than I expected but I should have paid more attention to the dimensions. I absolutely love the tea pot and cup. The cup is easy to hold and it doesn't get too hot to handle. This is truly a beautiful pot! The glaze is stunning and it's a very unique shape that fits well in the hand and brews/pours wonderfully. Arrived quickly & well-packaged. Fresh out of the decorative box it came in, the lighter glaze had a glossy silver mirror finish, but with use, you start to see more of the iridescent tones shown in the site pictures. Taking off half a star because the inside of the lid is unglazed (totally fine), but has a prominent lip that was very rough and sharp in places, and also collected stray leaves when brewing. Contacted customer service about it and they were very responsive, apparently this rough style lid is standard for their pots. I still love the pot, and I was able to smooth down the sharp edges easily with some fine grain sandpaper which resolved the issue. However, this detail feels a bit inconsistent with the top-tier quality in every other aspect of the pot's design.

It also compliments several of the Tenmokus tea cups he has without being too 'matchy' (though who am I kidding, I absolutely covet the Fairy teapot/cup and the Mulan set!). I bought the teapot and 6 of the teacups. I enjoy them all immensely. They are all small, the teapot in particular is quite small but it about right for a personal serving of tea. It looks beautiful. The craftsmanship is fantastic. I enjoy taking a minute and having a little cup of tea and letting the world pass by with this little set.

This little teapot is exquisite. It is so beautifully made and is a work of art. The shape and glaze are gorgeous. The one little disappointment is that it is tiny - I wasn't expecting a big teapot, but this only holds about a standard cup of liquid (not a whole mug full). Saying that, it pours beautifully, keeps the tea warm and is a pleasure to use. It came in a beautiful padded box and was sent quickly. The comms were great too. I recommend it, but with the caveat about being aware of what the size actually looks like.

VERY TINY. The craftsmanship is stunning, but the pot is MUCH smaller than I expected. For reference, I wear a US size 3.5 ring. My hands are about the size of a 10 year old childs hands.
The pot is gorgeous and I love it, but just be aware of how small it is.

This is my very first tea pot and it took me forever to choose.
