I like the rounded shape, delicacy of the design, the subtle flow of dark, shimmery color and the unique patterning on each cup (I've ordered it more than a few times as gifts). I bought this for my sister’s 70th birthday. The cup is covered in her favourite colours especially the turquoise blues and pinks. I know she will love it. Even the name is perfect. Mulan is the name of her favourite Chinese heroine.
I cannot give feedback to date, as she has not yet seen it, but I love it for its delicacy and the skill in decorating it. The box it arrived in demonstrates the quality of the product and the care given in presenting it. I now want one but a different pattern.

This is my 6th teacup. I'm hooked! The colors on this one were exquisite. It's the thinnest-walled cup, and I enjoy the variety of glazes and sizes that I have. They all have been really pretty. The ancient Mulan flower is theorized to evolve to attract beetles for pollination . The beautiful cup looks like a flower surrounded by a number of rainbow leaf beetles with their metallic bands of green, blue, gold and red. This cup is a keeper.

Everything about my purchase was enjoyable, from browsing their site to opening my packages. I intend to gift a variety of these cups to my daughter, who is an avid tea drinker. I do wish this bowl had the writing on the bottom like the others- but all in all a really beautiful product. You can see the quality workmanship. The box is also very beautiful! Would highly recommend!

Mulan, or wood orchid/flower is a small fragile looking teacup that is as memorizing as it is versatile. But make no mistake, this cup is sturdier than she looks. You'll love how the colors blend to look like little flowers.
