Very high quality and you can really tell it’s one of a kind when you get it and look at the very fine details. I got this as a present for my fiancé’s birthday and he absolutely loved it thinking it was super cool. When he opened it, we immediately had some tea with it — him with his tenmokus and me with my own regular Japanese tea set that I already had. Even when holding it, you can tell the quality. I already had high quality Japanese tea cups and when we compared, the tenmokus cup retained heat a lot better than my regular did. When we poured hot tea in the tenmokus cup, we could barely feel the heat from where we held it, and we knew it was hot from trying to drink the tea. Overall, 100% would recommend as a unique gift either for yourself or for friends/family/loved ones who love tea or anything artsy or Japanese.

Gorgeous cup with a wonderful texture. It has become my go to host cup when drinking with others although due to it's smaller size, I tend to use a larger cup when drinking tea alone. I would love it if the other Oni items included in the tea set could be purchased individually.

Sizes are deceiving in the photos, they are smaller than they appear!
