The Teapot and matching coffee cups arrived today. I was surprised how quickly it arrived since I placed my order late on the 24th and it was delivered in 5 days. I will agree with other posts that the color tends more toward a brown than the bright orange shown in the photos. However, the craftmanship is excellent. The individual packages for each item is a nice touch and the presentation boxes are very nicely lined and padded. I'm sure my wife will enjoy the gift and it will be well used.

I was given a set of the blue lotus tea cups as presents and I love them! Hence, I needed a good engagement present for a close relative and I thought of the tea pots set with tea cups. I love some of the designs but not all of them.

We bought a teapot (orange) with matching coffee cups and Phoenix tea cups. We also got Glacier cup and deep ocean. All are absolutely beautiful! We want to collect various colors of tea and coffee cups because not only are they functional but beautiful to be on display. The packaging is beautiful. It comes in a linen covered hard box with a latch lending to its delicate and rich contents. You really know you are getting something special. I can wait to get some more pieces.

Upon opening the small blue box, i discovered a teapot whose shape and color are truly gratifying. The glaze, more subdued than i expected, is wonderful and so is its plump-rounded capacity which is hidden so skillfully in the shadowy interior—just the right amount, a volume of 400 milliliters, an absence perfectly balanced against the shimmering exterior. This presence of absence brought to mind chapter eleven of the Daodejing:
Thirty spokes share the wheel's hub;
It is the center hole that makes it useful.
Shape clay into a vessel;
It is the space within that makes it useful.
Cut doors and windows for a room;
It is the holes which make it useful.
Therefore profit comes from what is there;
Usefulness from what is not there.

I previously purchased the Orange tea cups to use as a gift to my primary care physician. I decided to delay giving her the teacups and am I glad I did!
The Orange tea pot just added more class & beauty to my gift selection! Beautifully made! My PCP will love it!
Suggestion: Offer a larger size for the heavy tea drinkers.
