The Raindrops Jian Zhan Tenmoku coffee cup from Tenmokus is my absolute favorite! The stunning metal silver-ish bronze-ish cracked appearance gives it a unique and captivating look. Though nothing to do with the product itself, the delivery time of the cup was almost unbelievably quick which, particularly in these times, is almost a miracle. Perfect size for a cuppa, comfortable to hold and gorgeous to behold. Only comment for improvement - handle or base of cup should be raised slightly as when placing the cup in the centre of the plate the lower edge of the handle juuuust grazes the raised outer edge of the plate underneath.

The cups arrived beautifully packaged as one would expect for a Japanese product. They certainly lived up to their claims of beauty. They are a good weight and balance, in your hand.
My one criticism is that they are cold to touch and require heating for a longer time than a porcelain cup, before you pour in your coffee or it does not hold the heat.
I would certainly recommend them as a luxury present.

There's so many facets in the glaze of this cup, I adore it. Sometimes I just stare at the inside of the cup before taking a drink. It's a bit small but that's probably because I drink water from it instead of coffee, usually.
