Absolutely, this teapot is versatile for all loose leaf teas including delicate greens and whites, as well as oolong, puerh, and black teas. The thick walls of Jianzhan clay moderate temperature well, so you can control brewing by adjusting water temperature and steeping time.
Is the glaze on this Smoke Teapot food-safe and lead-free?
Yes, the teapot is high-fired at extreme temperatures which vitrifies the glaze, making it completely food-safe, lead-free, and non-toxic. The iron-rich glaze is naturally durable and will not leach any harmful substances into your tea.
