It appears very dark. Almost black, not vibrant blue like the picture on the site. Which is why I purchased it. I do see blue in my video, however it’s background light shining off my camera into the cup. In person it is very dark. I suggest you update your photo? The cup itself is very good quality. However, if you’re like me and purchased this cup for the blue color - consider another blue option.

Darker glaze than advertised but still a gorgeous deep blue. This glaze breaks on the rim as a mat dark gray where the rest of the glaze is very reflective. Also has a slight slump but not as much as shown in the images. Beautiful craftsmanship--even walls with a delicate raised foot. Feels very comforting in the hand with the contrasting textures of the smooth glaze and the raised glaze slump against the exposed raw clay.
