This was an added piece to a golden teapot set. I wanted a coffee cup. Wow, my cup came in an individual hinged box with divided partitions. The box by itself is great.
The cup surpassed my expectations completely. The finish appears to be like an airbrushed metal. Colors are amazingly blended.

I can't show the cup because it was bought as a present and is still in its beautiful box. I have looked at it, though, and it is a lovely object. As is the tea bowl I also ordered for a present. I wish I could afford to get them, or keep them, for myself!
They are lovely works of art and I'm sure they will be as good to drink from as they are to look at.

The coffee cup is very beautiful but I was slightly disappointed that the colours weren't stronger on the cup itself for the true aurora effect. The saucer has lovely colouring. I of course understand that each cup is different and that is all part of being individually hand made. The pottery feels lovely to hold, light and not at all chunky.

This cup and saucer was purchased as a gift for my wife. She loved it. However, she had not seen the photos in the advertising material. I had seen the advertising and felt the glazing on the cup we received did not live up to the glamor of the cup in the advertising. As I recognize, glazing will vary from one cup to another, the cup we received has its own special look. It was disappointing to me as the glaze was more monochromic than the rainbow variance of the advertised cup.
