This is rightly described as a "jewel"... It is small but very beautiful and exquisitely proportioned. What the potter has done with the glaze is masterful - as an ancient potter myself I can understand the level of skill it took to achieve this glaze effect, especially in the firing. I would love to know what the signiture on the base says, only so I could credit the potter for his achievement. I also congratulate Tenmokus for their expert packaging. They know their job when sending fragile objects through the mail.

Hi, thanks for doing such a beautiful cup, it is truly art pieces, the items i received very quickly, very different from the one i bought 3 years ago (it took like three weeks at the time to arrive) the only difference and that is why i decided to write a comment is that in comparison with the first one this new two cups are 10 percent more little that the first and specifically in this model is like to little capacity of tee to drink, but anyway i love it. Thank again and i will to continue shopping, even though this are expensive items but of course it is the right price for this Quality and for the traditional way they are made.

I thought the "Bloom" cup was lovely. Not quite as vibrant as it looked on the website, but lovely still. I felt doing business with the company was easy and the delivery of the cup was faster than I had expected.
I will say only one issue popped up in the ordering of the cup and that was that is was purchased as a gift, but I was not given the opportunity during the ordering process to have the cup shipped to an alternate address. As a result the cup was shipped to me and I then had to ship it on to the recipient of the gift. This is something you may want to look into for future customers.

I bought 4 different teacups to try to see which I liked best and they all have subtle differences from the website pictures with this one coming closest to looking like the Glacier pictured. I also bought two of the "Bloom" and this Glacier looks very much like them in color but has more concentrated groups of shading in the glaze, as you would expect in a glacier. I forgot to mention earlier in previous reviews that the customer service from Yuki is exceptional. I forgot to include a discount code on this order, emailed her asking to apply it to future orders and she promptly adjusted this order for the amount. Ausgezeichnet!

Absolutely LOVE these tea cups! I bought four the first time, tentatively, as once you convert to Aussie dollars - even on sale - they are quite pricey but having lusted after them for a while I took the plunge during their Black Friday sale. And - fell in love with them as soon as they arrived and constantly admire the glazing every time I use one. They have a nice solid weight in your hand. So much so I ordered another four. They come individually packed in gorgeous boxes and the delivery was speedy and efficient. I received them within the week in Australia. Just pay attention to the volume of each as this can differ between cups. The unusual shape of Bloom is what attracted me.
