The quality is of course lovely, but I was expecting it to be/hoping it would be much more pink from the photographs of it on the website. I have received a silver cup that has a very slight pink sheen if you tip it towards the light.

It is beautiful Tenmoku bowl. The color we ordered was pink but the one we received is more brown color with very light pink tone which we are a little disappointed. When we ordered the bowl, the photo shows beautiful strong pink which we hoped to receive. We appreciate this oil spot firing so we will keep it. My husband taught at college almost 40 years ceramics. We know each firing get different result. If you have another strong pink color result closer to photo we may purchase again. And do you have a larger size tea bowl (5 inch + -) which I can use for Japanese tea ceremony. Thank you for the beautiful work.
