I bought one of the gold Teapots along with a gold cup for my wife for Christmas. It was a beautiful set and she loved it, as did I. Unfortunately it is necessary to be careful when handling the handle of the teapot because it broke while she was washing it after about 10 days. Still, I think she knows better now how to handle the tea pot so I bought her a replacement gold teapot.

I am happy to write a review of the Tenmokus products I have recently purchased because I am so happy with them. I purchased a gold tea set for my wife for Christmas. I also purchased a fairy teapot and four cups for my daughter with the idea that I would add to her collection in the future. When I first discovered the Tenmokus website, I had a difficult time deciding what to purchase because all the sets were so beautiful. But I thought the gold set stood out. I am so happy I chose that set because my wife was thrilled to receive it. How couldn't she be? It is simply gorgeous. The entire experience was great. Tenmokus promptly took my order and shipped it, and everything arrived safely and quickly, contained in attractive boxes. My wife asked me if there was a teapot to go with the set, and there was, so I ordered it as a Valentine's Day present. The teapot arrived six days after I ordered it--amazing service. Here is a photo of the teapot with the original tea set. I have added a ruler so viewers will have a good idea of how big the pieces are. I'm very happy, and I probably will continue to purchase individual pieces from other sets in the future because there are so many beautiful sets.

It is so pretty. Yes, it's a small teapot (300ml) but I suffer from essential tremors and cannot safely wield a larger pot. So, having something really pretty that I can use by myself is a joy. Pouring tea into my lovely Tenmokus tea cups (the Crane in particular) is just the icing on the cake.

I love this tea pot so much. I have a gold tenmoku cup that I have had for awhile and when I saw this I had to get it to match. Using them together is quite a delight. One warning i would give to anyone considering this specific item is that it does have a near 20 second pour so I only use tea that enjoy long steep times.
